The main building of museum is built in an old style, with columns and a porch.
The building was renovated in 2005. It has five rooms and a corridor, which opens onto the yard. The first room, you can see relics of “Kallai Kettos”, which is a world-famous folk dance and drama in one. The next room has many relics from the history of our town. The third room has the ethnography exhibits. Displays in the next room are from old professions, like shoemaking. The last room in the museum is a picture gallery for paintings by contemporary amateur painters who have been living in Nagykallo. In the corridor there are old farming tools and small pieces of equipment. On the open-air porch, four big millstones seem to say, "goodbye" to visitors. The yard has parking spots and is landscaped in a beautiful way.
