What is behind the average? SES data

 

Let's look into the average pay gap of 25% which refers to the 25 Member States of the EU (data of SES , 2002) We can state that women's wage compared to men's wage is the lowest in Great Britain: here women earn 30% less on average than men. The other end of the scale is Slovenia, where women's wage is only 11% lower than men's wage.
